History of Growth

FCC in 1995

Our church started off as a small group 13 years ago. In March, 1996, we have 13 members, and the offering was RM51.08. By 1999, we have grown to more than 100. By 2000, with the introduction of a separated Chinese Ministry, FCC's total attendance hit 200.

FCC continued to grow to an average worship attendance of 300 in the years of 2002-2003. By 2006, FCC added the Saturday Night Service and again we experienced a drastic growth. In 2007, FCC made a bold move by refocusing on the core values of fellowship in small groups, thus introducing Share Groups. We believe in authentic fellowship in small groups.

Our effort to regain the means of fellowship and church family bears fruit within a year. In April 2008, FCC saw another surge with a 15% growth in one month. By August, our monthly average attendance has seen a 32% growth compared to the same period of the previous year.

We believe in authentic church growth through evangelism. By God's grace, we will be entrusted with more souls in the months to come as God grows His church!

FCC is blessed with responses to fulltime ministry over the years. Currently, we have had 20 responded to the fulltime calling. This is not including those who responded prior to 2001. Currently three of them are in the seminary and one graduated. Others are serving faithfully in various parts of the Diocese.
